Comparative Analytical Linguistics and Cryptology

All Schools - NJAIS

Duration: 10 Day Course

Grade band: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Adult Learner

$0

The course promotes the understanding and appreciation of languages (other than English), which includes ‘mainstream,’ less commonly used and taught, oral tradition and nearly extinct or extinct languages.  Linguistics is the scientific study and analysis of vocabulary, grammar, usage, syntax and other components of discourse by making observations, hypothesizing, and examining theories about how language works.  Whereas single language courses tend to focus on one language, Comparative Analytical Linguistics and Cryptology survey world languages according to relative groupings, and how do effectively encode and decode vernacular and artificial languages.
